According to Anne Williams, Jigsaw Puzzles, An Illustrated History and Price Guide, Madmar Quality Co. produced Madmar, Blue Ribbon, Interlox, Mayfair, and other lines of jigsaw puzzles, mainly using plywood and composition board, from 1914 until the company was purchased by Foster Paper Company in the 1950's, after which, that company continued to produce puzzles until 1967.
